Demopolis Hickory Mill is a sawmill located in Demopolis, AL. The sawmill has been here since the late 1800s originating as a pine shunt mill. Over the years it has adapted to meet the needs of the current market at one time or another producing snow skis, pine shunts, hog gambrels, smokies, bucket handles, and drum sticks. 

We have adapted to the needs of the US and oversea markets and currently produce hickory blanks and turnings. Our turning plant started in 2018 and has grown rapidly. 

It's a family business owned and operated by the father Dan. He works hand in hand with his son Daniel daily. Dan's wife and Daniel's wife both work here too. And at any point there might be a grandkid or a granddog stop by.
